Publishing integration

Publish to WordPress without leaving Xeostack

Approved articles publish straight into your WordPress, hosted or self-hosted.

Xeostack writes to the standard WordPress REST API, which means it works the same on WordPress.com, a managed host, or something self-hosted on a box you own. There is no plugin to install and nothing running inside your site.

Authentication is an application password, not your account password — a credential you generate for Xeostack alone and can revoke from your WordPress profile at any time without changing your own login.

POST /wp-json/wp/v2/posts

What you need

  • Your WordPress site URL
  • A WordPress username with permission to publish
  • An application password generated for that user

Setting it up

  1. In WordPress, open Users → Profile → Application Passwords and create one named Xeostack.
  2. In Xeostack, go to Content Studio → Website Connection and choose WordPress.
  3. Paste the site URL, username and application password, then save.

What it does not do

It publishes posts. Custom post types, Gutenberg block layouts and page builders like Elementor are not written to — an article arrives as standard post content, and anything your theme does to that is up to your theme.

We connect your site during onboarding, so you are not doing this alone.
